Fashion’s future isn’t just about trends—it’s about access, connection, and business-building skills that open doors. In partnership with Shopify, Celebrating Fashion’s Future is back for its second year, expanding opportunities for the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.
Through our digital boot camp, The Black Retail Action Group (BRAG) students from Howard University and Clark Atlanta University took a deep dive into the digital side of fashion retail. They engaged with industry leaders, explored entrepreneurship, and got a real-world look at how fashion retail e-commerce works.
Their journey culminated in Atlanta, where they showcased bold creativity, teamwork, and innovation through their ‘Path to Purchase’ presentations—an inspiring display of strategy, style, and entrepreneurial vision.
While in Atlanta, students:
✔️ Stepped inside the industry at the Footwear Industry Trade Show & Steve Madden retail store
✔️ Built meaningful connections over shared meals and networking events
✔️ Captured their professional presence with headshots and profile videos
✔️ Gained access to business coaching through Operation Hope
